Where to hear a band
What to expect
Most bands in Pattaya play covers: classic rock, pop and Thai hits, often taking requests, and the sets run late.
Four different nights: Beach Road for a polished house band at Hard Rock Cafe, or two rock bands a night at Lisa on the Beach; Soi Buakhao for hard rock and metal at Rock Factory, and Tree Town for casual stages; Walking Street for a rock band every night at Hot Tuna, Thai bands at The Stones House and a band in the front room of Lucifer; and the Thai clubs inland for Thai bands.

Thai bands
For Thai music, go inland. On Phettrakul Road in North Pattaya, Hollywood Pattaya has a full live band with dancers and DJs, and GOD PATTAYA has live bands, DJs and ticketed concerts by Thai bands and singers. Mahanakhon on South Pattaya Road has three house bands a night on Thursdays to Saturdays, from 19:00; Isan Kan Wela on Third Road is a mor lam variety pub, open 21:00 to 04:00; and YES Pattaya holds concerts by Thai artists. Concert nights are ticketed or sold by the table: 250 to 400 baht at GOD PATTAYA, free to 150 baht at Isan Kan Wela, 1,500 to 3,000 baht for a table of four at Mahanakhon in 2026 (their own posts, checked 2 October 2026). Dated shows coming up are on club nights and parties.
Quieter music
For a drink you can talk over, the Lobby Lounge at Dusit Thani has live music from 17:00, and La Moon has a stage for bands and DJs beside its cocktail bar. The Clubhouse in Jomtien has a singer on Friday evenings.
Festivals
Pattaya City runs a free Pattaya Music Festival on the beaches in March; in 2026 it ran on four weekends, from Pattaya Beach to Naklua. More dates on club nights and parties.

Hard Rock Cafe on Beach Road has a band every night from 20:00 to 23:45. Lisa on the Beach on Beach Road has two rock bands a night (Pattaya.Guide, June 2026), and Hot Tuna on Walking Street a band every night (KQ Bar Pattaya, September 2026).
Do I pay to get in?
It depends on the night. On ordinary band nights the bars on this page publish no entry fee, which does not mean entry is free: ask at the door. Concerts at the Thai clubs are ticketed, by their own 2026 posts: 250 to 400 baht at GOD PATTAYA, free to 150 baht at Isan Kan Wela, and tables of four for 1,500 to 3,000 baht at Mahanakhon.
