What it’s like
The north end of the bay is where Pattaya slows down. Naklua is an old Thai fishing town grown into a district of resorts and condos, and Wong Amat is its beach, long and calm. The night here is a sunset drink on the sand, dinner, and a band for those who want one.
For a band and a late night, Phettrakul Road has two Thai clubs: Hollywood Pattaya, with a full live band with dancers, DJs and an MC from 21:00, and GOD PATTAYA, with live bands, DJs and concerts by Thai bands and singers, doors at 20:00 by its opening post (their own pages: Hollywood’s checked 7 October 2026, GOD PATTAYA’s 2 October 2026).

The two Thai clubs on Phettrakul Road open later, Hollywood at 21:00 and GOD PATTAYA at 20:00, and publish no closing time; licensed venues close by 04:00.
When to go
Come for the sunset: Wong Amat faces west. Start with the afternoon happy hour at The Beach Club at Pullman, 14:00 to 17:00; Rum Jungle opens its roof at 17:00, and the beach bars stay open until 21:00 to 23:00. For a late night, the Thai clubs on Phettrakul Road open from 20:00, or go south to Central Pattaya or Walking Street.
