What it’s like

Beach Road is the promenade: the sea on one side, hotels, malls and bars on the other. Second Road runs behind it. Between them, numbered sois lead from one to the other. The tall towers along both roads carry the rooftop bars.

Some sois here are lined with bars this guide does not list. Soi 6 is one: about 500 metres between Beach Road and Second Road, small open-fronted bars along both sides, busiest in the afternoon and early evening (Pattaya.Guide, July 2026). We list none of them.

Skybar Summer Club charges walk-in guests 500 baht, redeemable as a voucher for food or drinks, and its own rule says 18 and over; Thai law sets 20 for licensed venues, so bring photo ID. Horizon publishes the hours of its menu, not a closing time. All three are compared with the rest of the town’s on rooftop bars in Pattaya and Jomtien.

Pubs and sport

For the match, Robin Hood Tavern at The Avenue on Second Road is open from 07:00 to midnight, and The Sportsman, on Soi 13, shows live sport from 07:00 to 01:00 (Pattaya.Guide, June 2026).

A night here

Sunset at LAY Beach Club or on a rooftop; the band at Hard Rock Cafe from 20:00, or two rock bands a night at Lisa on the Beach, between Soi 7 and Soi 8; cocktails at La Moon until 02:00. Walking Street is at the south end of Beach Road for the clubs.

Getting there and home

Baht buses cost 15 baht for rides up to 10 km, up to 20 baht on longer routes, since 10 April 2026 (Pattaya Mail). Ride apps cover everywhere. See getting home.
