Walking Street

Loud, late and lit up.

The places we list here

Each place links to its own page, with its sources and the dates we checked them; check before you go.

What it’s like

A street of neon, music and crowds, closed to cars at night, with clubs, live-music bars, seafood restaurants and street sellers along it. It is loud and it is a show; many people walk it once just to see it.

Some bars on this street are go-go bars; we don’t list them.

“Not published” means the place gives no hours of its own; where a listing gives some, we name it. Licensed venues may stay open until 04:00. Hours change: check the place’s own channel on the day.

A night here

Start with the sunset at Sina, off Bali Hai Pier (last boat out 19:00, by its own site). Eat, walk the street, catch a band at Hot Tuna for rock or The Stones House for Thai bands, then a club from 22:00: Republic Club Pattaya for EDM and hip-hop, Mixx next door to it (open again: its own October announcement and reel, checked 21 October 2026), Club Insomnia and iBar for six bars and a laser show, MYST Club Pattaya, 808 Club, Flexx or, late, Tunnel Club for hip-hop. For a band and a stage show, Lucifer Club Pattaya; for EDM at a table, Club Panda Pattaya; for Bollywood, Leela Club Pattaya, The Nashaa Club or Tony’s by Nashaa. More on clubs.

Republic’s own event list gives free entry on its standard nights. For 808 Club, Lucifer, The Nashaa Club and Tony’s by Nashaa, the entry prices come from a listings site, not the clubs: Go To Pattaya (June 2026) says the first three are free and Tony’s charges 200 baht (500 on event nights). The other clubs publish no entry price, which does not mean entry is free: ask at the door. The year’s big nights, from New Year’s Eve down, are on club nights and parties.

Know before you go

Carry photo ID: clubs must check you are 20 or over. Agree prices before you order at a bar without a menu, and check the bill: the US State Department warns of overcharging in some bars. See staying safe.

Getting there and home

Walking Street starts where Beach Road ends. Ride apps pick up nearby; baht buses cost 15 baht for rides up to 10 km, since 10 April 2026 (Pattaya Mail). See getting home.

Questions

What time does Walking Street close?

The street itself is open all night. Licensed venues on it may stay open until 04:00, and until 06:00 on New Year’s Eve (checked 1 October 2026).

What time do Walking Street clubs open?

Republic opens at 22:00 every night (its own site, checked 1 October 2026); Flexx opens its doors at 23:00 (its own Instagram, 12 October 2026). By the listings, Club Insomnia and 808 Club open at 20:00 and MYST Club around 22:30 (DASTA; Go To Pattaya, June 2026).

Do Walking Street clubs charge entry?

Republic’s own event list gives free entry on its standard nights. Go To Pattaya, a listings site (June 2026), says 808 Club, Lucifer and The Nashaa Club are free and Tony’s by Nashaa charges 200 baht; those clubs publish no entry price themselves. The others publish none either, which does not mean free: ask at the door.

Is Walking Street safe?

It is busy until late. The risks the UK and US governments name for Thai nightlife are drink spiking and overcharged bar bills: watch your drink and check your bill. See staying safe.

Soi 6 or Walking Street?

For clubs and bands, Walking Street: its clubs open from 20:00 to about 22:30 and licensed venues may stay open until 04:00. Soi 6, between Beach Road and Second Road, is a lane of small bars, busiest in the afternoon and early evening (Pattaya.Guide, July 2026); we list none of them.
