Soi Buakhao and LK Metro

Busy, loud, local.

Soi Buakhao is a long, busy road through the middle of Pattaya, parallel to Second Road. LK Metro is a planned grid of small streets off its middle, with bars, small hotels and kitchens; we name no bar inside it. On the road itself are Rock Factory’s bands and Pattaya Sports Bar, open 07:00 to 03:00 (checked 7 October 2026).

The places we list here

Each place links to its own page, with its sources and the dates we checked them; check before you go.

What it’s like

Soi Buakhao is where Pattaya lives: a market, cheap kitchens, guesthouses, pubs and bars along one long road. The crowd is more residents and repeat visitors than first-time tourists, and it is louder at the weekend, calmer from Monday to Wednesday (Pattaya.Guide).

Every place we list here, its hours and its own channel (checked 14 October 2026)

“Not published” means the place gives no hours of its own; where a listing gives some, we name it. Licensed venues may stay open until 04:00. Hours change: check the place’s own channel on the day.

LK Metro

LK Metro is a purpose-built block of connected streets off the middle of Soi Buakhao, two streets back from Second Road and a 10- to 15-minute walk from Beach Road. Within about 200 metres it has several dozen small, open-fronted bars, places to eat and 30 to 50 small and mid-range hotels; the bars run from late afternoon until the early hours, busiest from Friday to Sunday (Pattaya.Guide, 4 August 2026).

Some bars in LK Metro are go-go bars; we don’t list them.

The ordinary bars there change often and publish no hours of their own, so this guide names no bar inside LK Metro. Pattaya.Guide also says it is no place to walk children after dark.

What there is besides: kitchens of many kinds in the streets around it, Indian and Pakistani, German and Scandinavian, Korean, Japanese and Thai, and British pub food; and S1 Pool Hall, nearby, with pool, snooker and darts around the clock (Pattaya.Guide). For a band or the match with published hours, walk to the two places we list on Soi Buakhao, or on to Tree Town.

The road

Soi Buakhao runs roughly north to south, parallel to and inland from Second Road, from Pattaya Klang (Central Road) in the north to Pattaya Tai (South Road) in the south, by Pattaya.Guide. Along it are hundreds of guesthouses, kitchens, bars, minimarts and pool halls, and baht buses run along the road itself.

Sport and bands

Pattaya Sports Bar, in the middle of the road, has over 30 indoor and outdoor screens, four dartboards and pool, and is open from 07:00 to 03:00 (its own site, checked 7 October 2026). Rock Factory, at 210/51-53, a short walk from Tree Town, has hard rock and heavy metal bands from a rotating roster, with tribute nights, requests and a kitchen.

A night here

Watch the match at Pattaya Sports Bar, then a band at Rock Factory, or walk to Tree Town for open-air stages. For more rooms with big screens, see pubs and sports bars; for bands across town, live music; for a whole night in the quieter areas, the second plan on your first night out.

Getting there and home

Soi Buakhao is a ten-minute walk from Second Road. Baht buses run along it; ride apps cover it and are the easier way home late. See getting home.

Questions

Where is LK Metro in Pattaya?

Off the middle of Soi Buakhao in central Pattaya, two streets back from Second Road: a planned grid of streets rather than one road. Beach Road is a 10- to 15-minute walk west (Pattaya.Guide, August 2026).

Is Soi Buakhao the same as LK Metro?

No. Soi Buakhao is the long road; LK Metro is a grid of small streets off its middle, with bars, small hotels and kitchens. Tree Town is a separate covered arcade further along the road.

Does this guide list bars in LK Metro?

No. The bars there change often and publish no hours of their own. Close by on Soi Buakhao we list Rock Factory and Pattaya Sports Bar, and Tree Town is a short walk.

Is there live music on Soi Buakhao?

Yes: Rock Factory has hard rock and heavy metal bands from a rotating roster through the week, though it publishes no opening time, and Tree Town, next door, has live stages through the evening (Pattaya.Guide, 2026).

Where can I watch sport on Soi Buakhao?

At Pattaya Sports Bar, with over 30 screens, open from 07:00 to 03:00 (its own site, checked 7 October 2026).
