Pattaya After Dark is written, filmed and kept up to date by Tim and Paemi, who live here. This page is who we are, how we check things, and what we won't do.

TIM & PAEMI
We are a two-person team based in Pattaya. Paemi is Thai and from here; Tim moved over and stayed. Between us we cover the city after dark the way we'd explain it to a friend arriving on a Friday night — which zone to start in, what a beer actually costs, what time a place stops being worth the taxi.
Pattaya After Dark is published by TIMPAEMI CO., LTD., Pattaya City, Bang Lamung District, Chon Buri. It is one of a group of Pattaya sites we run under the TimPaemi name — same two people, same standard, different subjects.
// 02 — HOW WE WORK
ON THE GROUND, AFTER DARK
We go at night. A bar soi at 6 PM and the same soi at midnight are two different places, so we look at them at the hours we're describing. Opening times, peak hours and closing times come from being there, not from a listing page.
Prices are what we saw, when we saw it. Pattaya moves fast and high season moves it faster. Where we quote a number it's the number we paid or were quoted, and we go back and re-check through the season rather than leaving a page to rot.
We say when something has changed hands or closed. Venues in this city open, rebrand and vanish constantly. A page that quietly describes a bar that shut two years ago is worse than no page, so closures get marked rather than deleted.
We write what we'd tell a friend. That includes the unflattering parts — where it's a tourist trap, where the drinks are overpriced, where you'll have a better night one soi over.

No paid placements. No venue has paid to appear on this site, to rank higher on it, or to have anything removed from it. There is no ad network on these pages and no sponsored posts.
No affiliate links, currently. If that ever changes we'll say so plainly on the page it applies to, rather than burying it.
No AI-invented venues. Every venue page here corresponds to a real place we can point at on a map.

Prices change, venues close, sois get rebuilt. If something on this site is out of date or simply wrong, email [email protected] and we'll check it and fix it. Corrections from people who were there last week are the fastest way this site stays honest.
