Mahanakhon (มหานคร) is an open-air Thai pub-bar at 63/5 South Pattaya Road. Its posts list three house bands a night, each with a DJ and an MC, on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays; it publishes no entry price for those nights. On concert nights Thai acts play, and you buy a table. It opens daily from 19:00, its karaoke zone from 20:00, by its own posts, the latest for 16 October 2026 (checked 14 October 2026).

What it is

Mahanakhon is an open-air place, part pub and part bar, where live music and EDM share the night, by GangTravel’s February 2026 list. KQ Bar Pattaya (September 2026) puts it somewhere between a pub and a club, with a house band and Thai songs for a mostly Thai crowd, busiest on Sundays. It opens every day at 19:00, and a karaoke zone opens at 20:00, by its own posts.

The house bands

Its posts list three house bands a night, with a DJ and an MC between them, on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. On Thursdays in 2026 it was Begin Band, Lamer Band and Shinobi Band; on Saturdays Teletubbie Band, Smile Band and Namee Band; on Fridays Home Band and Black Sheep Band among them, each with its own DJ and MC, by the club’s concert posts. It publishes no line-up for the other nights. The bands play Thai songs (KQ Bar Pattaya).

Concert nights

Concert nights work differently from band nights. Thai acts play ticketed table concerts, announced on its own pages. You buy a table for four by zone, red in front of the stage, then blue and green, with drinks included: 3,000, 2,500 or 2,000 baht for Labanoon on 6 June and DAX ROCK RIDER on 16 July 2026, and 2,500, 2,000 or 1,500 baht for Kratai Pannipa on 16 October. An extra seat is 300 baht, one per table, doors open at 18:00, and it is 20 and over only, with ID. ME YOU played a free concert on 30 April, without table bookings. For ordinary band nights it publishes no entry price; ask on LINE.

Getting there and home

Mahanakhon is at 63/5 South Pattaya Road, by its own posts (the map pin in its posts sits on Soi South Pattaya 3), a taxi or ride-app trip from Beach Road. It takes bookings by phone and on LINE, through the link in its own posts (the older name @MAHANAKHONPATTAYA did not open when we checked on 2 October 2026).
