He keeps the venue ledger — 809 records, each with a status, a verification date and a single owning zone — and he is the one who marks a bar closed, which is the entry readers complain about most and the one worth getting right.

Most pages end with a source check showing the claim, the source's words, the publisher and the date it was read. Field observations are identified separately from desk verification, and conflicting sources are shown rather than silently combined.

Software maintains the venue ledger, assembles pages and runs consistency checks. It does not prove a remote source or make the editorial decision. Tim and Paemi approve the final publication and remain responsible for corrections.
