THE NORTH GATE
Boyztown begins from the Soi 13/4 side rather than directly on Beach Road. This is the cleanest handoff from the numbered Soi 13 guide.
// ZONE 23 — THE HERITAGE QUARTER
Pattayaland Soi 3, widely known as Boyztown, is an L-shaped heritage nightlife lane between the Soi 13/4 grid and Second Road. It has been associated with Pattaya’s gay nightlife since the 1980s and remains historically distinct despite a smaller current roster. Five June records justify a focused guide because the place, route and legacy are independently documented. Its scale is small; its identity is not.

// 01 — THE SHAPE
Pattayaland contains several numbered lanes, and the phrase Boyztown usually refers to Pattayaland Soi 3. That is different from Pattaya Beach Road Soi 3 in the north. It also differs from the nearby Soi 13/3 and 13/4 records, even though the grids meet and are easily confused on foot.
The historical case is stronger than the raw count. Boyztown developed in the 1980s, became one of Pattaya’s best-known gay visitor districts, and reached a much larger peak in the 1990s and 2000s. The reduced June roster describes the present snapshot, not the full history of the quarter.
Four current records define the compact lane: Boyz Boyz Boyz, Castro Bar, X Boys and Panorama Pub. They cover stage shows, cabaret, a terrace and an early-evening lounge rhythm. The fifth record, Diamond Boy Bar, belongs geographically to Sunee Plaza and is kept once with that separation made explicit.
The zone page therefore does not replace the broader gay-nightlife guide, which compares Boyztown, Jomtien Complex and Sunee Plaza. This page solves a narrower problem: how to find the heritage lane, understand its clock and distinguish its five source records. Notability earns the page; transparent boundaries keep it honest.
// 02 — THE CLOCK
Castro and Panorama begin the early phase, making the compact lane useful before the later stage-show schedule.
Panorama’s June listing includes a happy hour from 18:00 to 20:00. Check the current board before relying on the offer.
Boyz Boyz Boyz and X Boys enter their listed schedules. Boyz Boyz Boyz lists stage shows from 22:00 and cabaret at midnight.
Castro is listed to 02:00 while the later rooms show closes to 04:00. Diamond Boy follows a separate Sunee schedule and is closed Saturdays.
// 03 — THE MAP
Boyztown begins from the Soi 13/4 side rather than directly on Beach Road. This is the cleanest handoff from the numbered Soi 13 guide.
Boyz Boyz Boyz, Castro, X Boys and Panorama form the present Boyztown group. The bend and terraces make the compact lane easy to read.
The southern/eastern end reaches Second Road, useful for rides and the onward trip. The lane is pedestrian-scale even though the surrounding roads are not.
Diamond Boy Bar is a Sunee Plaza record included by the source under Pattayaland. It is not walk-adjacent and requires a separate pin near Soi VC.
// 04 — THE ROUTE
From the numbered Soi 13 grid, use the Soi 13/4 side and look for the Pattayaland/Boyztown turn. Do not expect a direct Beach Road entrance to Pattayaland Soi 3. From elsewhere, Second Road is the simpler vehicle approach.
Walk the L-shaped core once. The four Boyztown records are close enough to compare by frontage, schedule and visible programme. Use the terrace as an orientation point and ask when the next show begins rather than assuming continuous performance.
Diamond Boy Bar is not the fifth stop on the same walk. Its Sunee Plaza position near Soi VC requires a separate ride or deliberate onward route. For a wider comparison of the city’s gay districts, follow the dedicated guide rather than treating Pattayaland as the whole scene.
The heritage sequence explains why this page survives the small-roster test. Cockpit Bar reopened on Pattayaland Soi 3 in 1985. Boyz Boyz Boyz opened on 6 December 1988, and the local venue community was using the BoyzTown name by 1989. The present four-door core is therefore read against a district identity built over decades, not marketed as a newly invented micro-zone. Keep that history separate from current-status claims: a famous former address is not an open venue, and only the five June records appear below. The route also stays precise. BoyzTown is Pattayaland Soi 3 near the Soi 13/4 grid; north-beach Pattaya Soi 3 has its own guide, and Sunee Plaza is a separate pinned destination. Visitors should treat the lane as an operating community: ask before photographing people or shows, respect the audience, and use the published schedule only as a starting point. A quiet terrace at 18:00 and a stage room near midnight are different experiences, even within the same short bend.
// 05 — THE BRIEFING
№ 01
The district’s history is measured in decades, but the roster is a June 2026 current-source snapshot of five records. Do not confuse legacy names with open doors.
№ 02
Terraces, pubs, cabaret and stage-led rooms use different menus. Check customer drinks, show timing and any separately priced extras before ordering.
№ 03
This is an LGBTQ+ nightlife district, not a spectacle for harassment or intrusive photography. Ask before photographing people or performances.
№ 04
Soi 13 and Pattayaland meet but keep separate rosters. Diamond Boy is disclosed as the Sunee outlier and appears nowhere else in the zone layer.
№ 05
Small heritage districts change quickly. Check the current sign, venue post and programme before making a special trip for a named show.
// 06 — THE JUNE 2026 LIST
This is a June 2026 source snapshot. “Open” means listed as open then, not confirmed tonight. Names without a dedicated venue page are deliberately unlinked.
The quarter's first venue, 20+ years running — stage shows from 22:00, cabaret at midnight, packed weekends. Multi-year audience-award winner.
Show bar with its famous swim-tank opener and nightly drag cabaret — terrace seats face the whole BoyzTown parade.
Stage-show bar on Pattayaland Soi 1 — nightly shows, regular themed events.
The quarter's lounge: A/C interior, pool table, and a terrace overlooking all of BoyzTown. Happy hour 18:00–20:00.
Sunee Plaza's stalwart off Soi VC — outdoor plaza seating, easy volume, well-priced drinks. Closed Saturdays.

// 07 — STRAIGHT ANSWERS
Boyztown usually refers to Pattayaland Soi 3, the L-shaped heritage gay-nightlife lane between the Soi 13/4 area and Second Road.
Boyztown’s documented history since the 1980s, distinct route and continuing identity make it notable beyond the size of its June 2026 roster.
No. Pattayaland Soi 3 is the southern Boyztown lane. Pattaya Soi 3 is a separate north-beach connector with its own guide.
The source groups it with Pattayaland, but its address is at Sunee Plaza near Soi VC. It remains once here with the separate location clearly disclosed.
Around 20:00–00:00 gives the strongest overlap between terraces, show rooms and cabaret. Some doors start at 16:00 and later listings run to 04:00.
