The name is easy to confuse with Pattayaland Soi 3 farther south. This page covers Pattaya Beach Road Soi 3 in the northern hotel district, not Boyztown. Check the map before travelling because “Soi 3” without a district can produce the wrong destination. Adding the venue name to a pickup note removes the remaining ambiguity.

The street itself is simple. Beach Road anchors the west end, Second Road anchors the east, and the small bar group sits between them. It is more relaxed than Soi 6 and less destination-led than North Pattaya’s large clubs. The value is convenience for nearby hotels and an easy one-lane comparison.

Its listed clock begins later than the hotel district around it. Several bars show 16:00–04:00 while other records have no verified hours. Gulliver’s functions as a landmark and bar-restaurant, and Virgin Rooftop adds a different format on the Soi 4 edge.

That variety should not be inflated into a large zone. Ten records are enough for a short evening, especially for someone staying nearby, but they do not make Soi 3 a citywide destination strip. Walk the direct lane once, then use Beach Road or Second Road for the next move.

From the beach, use Gulliver’s as the orientation point and walk east. From a North Pattaya hotel or Terminal 21 direction, approach via Second Road and walk west toward the sea. The full lane is short enough that a direct pass is more useful than planning a complicated route.

Keep Soi 6 separate. It sits farther south, runs a much stronger daytime shift and owns its own large roster. North Pattaya also keeps its four large-format club records. Soi 3 is the quieter bridge between the bayfront and Second Road, not an overflow list for either neighbour.

For Virgin Rooftop, use its exact Soi 4 pin rather than scanning Soi 3. After the last stop, Beach Road is useful for southbound movement and Second Road for the northbound loop. Confirm the vehicle and avoid carrying an open drink into traffic.

The best use of this ten-record street is a controlled first chapter. Start with food or screens at the Beach Road corner, make one inland pass, then decide whether the smaller bars are the night or only the warm-up. Four records carry listed 16:00–04:00 hours, but that does not make every frontage a late room. Check the sign and current activity before sitting. The rooftop belongs to a different lane and the Pattaya–Naklua road-end record sits beyond the simple beach-to-Second-Road walk, so neither should be added casually after drinking. Keep the hotel name saved as well as the venue pin: several numbered sois sound alike to drivers and visitors. Cross the two one-way main roads only at a clear gap, and wait away from the curb when using the phone. A precise two- or three-stop plan is safer and more honest than describing all ten names as one continuous bar line.
